Famima is like an upscale 7-11 specializing in Asian snacks such as 10 kinds of bottled green tea, Pocky and his savory brother Pretz, and to-go food. I had an urge for steamed buns a few hours after lunch today and since Famima was the only place within walking distance that I could get some at, I headed there.
For $1.50, the chicken mushroom steamed bun wasn’t that bad. It was pretty steamy, and the filling was satisfying. It was bigger than I expected. I wanted something snack sized, and it was lunch-sized. Next time, I might try the fried bread stuffed with curry chicken.
